Our client is a growing British Ground Engineering Consultancy specializing in both geotechnical design and ground investigation. As a small to medium-sized enterprise (SME), they pride themselves on delivering tailored solutions to a diverse range of clients across the UK. As the Geotechnical Team Lead, you will manage a small team of engineers and geologists, overseeing both design and investigation projects. You will be responsible for leading technical work on geotechnical designs, coordinating ground investigations, and providing mentorship to your team members. In addition, you will liaise with clients, ensuring that all projects meet the highest quality standards while being delivered on time and within budget.

Key Qualifications:

  • Background in either Geotechnical Engineering or Geology.
     
  • Proven experience in managing or mentoring teams within a consultancy environment.
     
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical design and ground investigation processes.
     
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
     
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time.
     
  • Chartered status or working towards chartership is preferred but not essential.
