Sustainability Engineer

In this exciting position, you'll play a crucial part in shaping sustainable outcomes across a diverse range of commercial, residential, and healthcare projects. You’ll be involved from concept to completion, applying your expertise in energy modeling and mechanical design to develop efficient, high-performance building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver energy models and simulations to guide sustainable design strategies
• Design mechanical systems with a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and sustainability consultants
• Support compliance with local and international sustainability standards and regulations
• Provide technical input during design stages and contribute to project documentation

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience in a similar role within a consultancy or building design environment
• Proficiency in energy modeling software (e.g., IES VE, TAS, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of heat load calculations and mechanical systems design
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
