Our client is a leading specialist in bricklaying services, renowned for their commitment to quality craftsmanship and excellence in project delivery. With a robust portfolio of successful projects and a growing reputation in the industry, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their dynamic team.

Job Description:

As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing bricklaying projects from inception to completion. Your leadership and expertise will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in bricklaying and site management to contribute to high-profile projects and grow within a reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site activities and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Manage and supervise bricklaying teams, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to project timelines.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.Monitor project progress, prepare regular reports, and provide updates to senior management.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or disputes that may arise, maintaining a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards and in accordance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, labor, and project expenses.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly in bricklaying or masonry projects.
  • Strong understanding of bricklaying techniques, materials, and construction processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field are preferred.
  • CSCS card and other relevant certifications are a plus.
