Senior Structural Engineer

ATG are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin. This role will involve leading structural design projects, with a focus on data centre developments, as well as other commercial and industrial structures.

You will play a key role in project delivery, technical leadership, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Design and analyze structural elements, including steel, concrete, and composite structures.
• Provide technical expertise in the design of large-scale data centres and critical infrastructure.
• Manage and mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, MEP engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with Irish and international building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct structural assessments and site inspections to ensure construction quality and safety.
• Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop cost-effective and sustainable design solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent (or working towards it).
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on data centres, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Strong proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, Tekla, Revit, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of Eurocodes and Irish building regulations.
• Proven experience managing projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively.
