Senior Resident Engineer

Access Talent Group is partnering with an award-winning global consultancy seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for a major road, cycling, and active travel project in the eastern part of Galway City.

This senior position involves on-site supervision, administration, monitoring, and inspection of construction activities. You will work closely with a Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works/Inspector, ensuring successful project delivery while upholding the highest standards in Environment, Sustainability, and Health & Safety.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience supervising and inspecting roadworks construction, including pavement, drainage, ducting, signage, and lighting.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a project team.
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
