Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of cost planning, control, and financial reporting on assigned projects
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Conduct cost analyses, risk management, and value engineering exercises
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring strong stakeholder relationships
- Monitor project progress, manage variations, and oversee the final account process
- Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Mentor and support junior surveyors within the team
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 5 years in a senior role
- Strong background in commercial and industrial construction projects
- In-depth knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
- Relevant degree (e.g., Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management)
- MRICS qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work autonomously
