Role Overview
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the management and oversight of cost planning and commercial management across multiple projects. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects, ensuring they are delivered on budget and in line with the client’s standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of project cost management, from feasibility through to completion.
- Prepare and manage budgets, cash flows, and financial reporting.
- Lead procurement strategies and manage contracts.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Provide accurate cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior surveyors to promote a culture of excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Considerable years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with significant exposure to Residential and Commercial projects.
- RICS accreditation or relevant professional qualification preferred.
- Strong understanding of contract law, procurement methods, and cost management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
