Role Overview
An experienced Environmental Consultant with a specialism in Air Quality is sought to join the dynamic team. The role will involve reviewing air quality assessment work completed by the team to ensure quality assurance standards are met. The successful candidate will also take on project management and line management responsibilities, guiding the team on various projects. While the primary focus will be on producing air quality assessments, the role will also include conducting environmental surveys, with occasional overnight stays and weekend work as required. This position offers a hybrid working model with flexibility to be based from one of the following offices: Leeds, Manchester, Leicester, or London.

Key Qualifications & Skills

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in air quality consultancy or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and assessment methodologies
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Willingness to undertake fieldwork, including overnight stays and weekend work when necessary
