Access talent group have partnered with British Engineering Consultancy that specialises in Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, as well as Civil, Structures and Highways design. Our client has been in the business for over 60 years, with offices in several Engineering hubs in the UK, including London and Manchester, with strategic offices offering world class engineering services overseas too. Our client is looking to add a Senior Environmental Consultant/Scientist that has a strong contaminated land skill set and portfolio of expertise.

To be a successful team member in our clients Land Quality team, you will be tasked with providing land quality (contaminated land) appraisals as well as technical due diligence studies. Our client’s Manchester offices has a big focus on regeneration projects, providing you with an excellent opportunity to work in an award winning team, making a real positive difference to the environment before, during and after project completion. Your weeks will be filled with tier 1-3 contaminated land risk assessments, backed up by designing and implementing remediation plans and schemes, as well as providing consultancy and information services your our clients customers.

 

Applicants should have:

  • A BSc or MSc in Environmental sciences or similar
     
  • Strong report writing skills
     
  • Experience in project and team management
     
  • The right to live and work in the UK
     
  • Previous remediation project experience
