Access are working with a specialist M&E contractor, with Data Centres being a core sector of their business accross mainland Europe. We are looking for a lead electrical engineer for a Data Centre project in Sweden. You'll work on high-value projects working directly with blue-chip clients. You'll oversee a team of skilled engineers, reporting directly to the client to deliver the project. This posiiton is working on a high-value Data Centre in Sweden. Our client are offering a rotational package with a fantastic scope of work for the successfull candidate.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Strong background in high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) power distribution systems, UPS, generators, and switchgear.
- Experience in electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning for large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee all electrical engineering activities, from design review to installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of 3-7 electrical project engineers, ensuring high-quality execution and professional development.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure HV/LV power distribution, switchgear, UPS, generators, and earthing systems are installed and tested to industry standards.
- Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with MEP teams, general contractors, and subcontractors to maintain project alignment.
- Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards (IEC, BS, NFPA, etc.), client specifications, and HSE regulations.
- Testing & Commissioning: Manage Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and final commissioning of electrical systems.
- Risk & Problem Solving: Identify potential issues, troubleshoot system failures, and implement solutions to maintain project timelines.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed progress reports, method statements, and technical submittals to ensure transparency and compliance.
