Access Talent group have partnered with an Irish Engineering firm, already boasting a team of over 200 Engineers and scientists, who are looking to make some important additions to their engineering team. Our client covers a range of civil, marine and environmental capabilities, with future expansions including onshore and offshore wind. Our client is a market leader and punches well above their weight in the UK, Irish and Europeans markets, and are hoping to find an ambitions Resident Engineer to join their already impressive ranks.

 

As a residential engineer, by definition you will need to be adaptable, maintaining our clients standards and project deliverables. You will be tasked with:

  • Interfacing between designers and site staff
  • Sign-off on formation levels
  • Supervising concrete pours
  • Assessment of concrete cube results
  • QA documentation
  • Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant codes and standards
  • Maintain a detailed record of all construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and material deliveries

 

Residential Engineers should have:

  • BEng or Equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience on site, supervising large infrastructure works.
  • A  good knowledge and awareness of H&S legislation and regulations.
  • Ability to define potential problem issues, collect data, establish, and report on facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • IT skills and familiarity with relevant computer applications.
  • Excellent skills communicating with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Geotechnical and wind farm experience is beneficial.
