Our client, a reputable and forward-thinking construction company specialising in commercial and industrial projects, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. With a growing pipeline of prestigious projects, this is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in delivering successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial reports
- Conduct tender analysis and support procurement strategies
- Manage subcontractor relationships, valuations, and payments
- Provide accurate cost advice and forecasts throughout project lifecycle
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed budgets and timelinesIdentify and mitigate commercial risks
- Prepare and negotiate final accounts
About You:
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Proven experience working on commercial and industrial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (JCT, NEC, etc.)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in cost management software and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
