Our client, a leading provider of construction and engineering services across Europe, is seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team for a large-scale Data Centre project in Copenhagen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to the success of a high-profile project, ensuring the effective management of costs and contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management: Oversee and manage all contractual aspects of the project, ensuring that all obligations are met by all parties involved. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including cost plans, budgets, forecasts, and valuations, ensuring that the project remains within budget. Provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
- CSA Package Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and the Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) package contractors. Ensure that all works are delivered in line with the project specifications and within the agreed budget.
- Project Schedule Analysis: Collaborate with the project management team to analyse the project schedule, identifying potential risks and opportunities for cost-saving. Assist in the development of strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a strong background in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Proven experience in the Data Centre sector or a relevant field, with a solid understanding of the specific challenges and requirements associated with such projects.
- A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is essential.
- Hold an EU Passport, with the ability to work in Denmark without requiring additional visas or work permits.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of the project team and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
