We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager to oversee mega projects in the petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will be based in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of mega projects, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Establish and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, to drive project success.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues, and implement necessary mitigation and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage stakeholder communications and relationships to ensure alignment and satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Key requirements
- At least a 4 year degree in an engineering discipline
- Proven experience in project management within the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with project management tools and software, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to quality and safety
