Our client, a prominent leader in the data centre solutions sector, is currently seeking a seasoned Data Centre Project Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee data centre projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with General Contractors: Work closely with general contractors to oversee and ensure the successful execution of construction projects. This involves reviewing and approving plans, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Auditing: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and project timelines. Provide detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.
  • Project Schedule Control: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget. Manage risks and implement contingency plans as necessary.
  • Design to Construction Management: Oversee the project from the initial design phase through to construction and final handover. This includes coordinating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the project meets the required standards and specifications.
  • Onsite Work: Provide a boots-on-ground presence, offering hands-on management and oversight at various project sites across Europe. Ensure that all onsite activities are performed efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre project management. A background in consultancy is highly preferred.
  • European Market Experience: Proven experience in managing data centre projects within the European market, with a thorough understanding of local regulations, standards, and market dynamics.
