Our client is a renowned leader in the construction industry, specialising in high-quality bricklaying services. With a proven track record of delivering exceptional masonry work on residential, commercial, and industrial projects, they are dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction. They are now seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their dynamic team and oversee multiple bricklaying projects from inception to completion.

Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Develop comprehensive project plans that merge client requirements with company goals. Manage all phases of bricklaying projects, from initial scoping and scheduling to completion.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and direct a team of bricklayers, site supervisors, and subcontractors. Ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and reported. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients. Maintain strong relationships through regular communication, progress updates, and addressing any concerns.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all bricklaying work meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project delivery is not compromised.
  • Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on bricklaying or masonry projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus.

  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
