The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the coordination and management of various phases of data center construction projects. This role involves overseeing project activities, supporting the senior management team, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This is an excellent opporutntiy for a project enigneer to gain expereince with a leading contractor, offering a ocntract length of 12-24 months.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination: Support the development and implementation of detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are achieved.

Technical Support: Provide technical expertise throughout all stages of the project, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, progress reports, and change orders. Keep stakeholders informed about project status.

Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and challenges, proposing practical solutions to mitigate issues and maintain project continuity.

Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all project activities adhere to company health and safety policies and local regulations. Promote a safety-conscious culture on-site.

Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment with project objectives.Support Continuous Improvement: Assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes and project delivery methods.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field).

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or data center sector.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with construction methodologies and project management tools. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software is an advantage.

Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with clients and teams at all levels.

Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities, with a track record of managing multiple tasks effectively.

Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other European languages is beneficial.
