As a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer specializing in seismic engineering, you’ll play a pivotal role in projects involving complex soil-structure interaction and advanced geotechnical modeling. Leveraging your expertise in finite element (FE) analysis and seismic considerations, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and resilient solutions for a variety of high-profile projects. This role requires strong technical leadership and a proactive approach to problem-solving, where you will guide junior engineers, liaise with clients, and ensure that the highest standards of engineering are met throughout all project phases.

Qualifications

  • Chartered engineer status or near-chartership completion
     
  • Extensive experience in seismic engineering, specifically with soil-structure interaction
     
  • Proficiency in geotechnical modeling software, including finite element (FE) analysis tools
     
  • Strong analytical skills and technical expertise in complex geotechnical problem-solving
     
  • Proven leadership abilities and excellent communication skills for team coordination and client interactions
