Access have partnered with a global offshore engineering consultancy who are looking to expand their Geotechnical Engineering team after a period of sustained success and contract awards. Our client has 250 employees around the world and are aiming to double the size of their Geotechnical Engineering team over the next 12 months. Our client works exclusively on offshore engineering projects, with 95% of the Geotech work being related to renewable energy.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a healthy mixture between in office design and analysis work, as well as site-based exposure to offshore engineering projects. Our client is looking for Engineers who have a desire to work on vastly different projects throughout their time, never once being able to copy and paste a design from a previous project. Candidates should be open to the idea of offshore travel, spending time away from home and working hand in hand with the end client and project contractors.

The be suitable for this role, candidates should have:

  • A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Ocean engineering or similar
     
  • The right to live and work in the UK
     
  • Exposure to design and analysis processes as well as site-based testing procedures
     
  • 4+ years experience in a similar position
