Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team for a 3-to-5-month contract on a data centre construction project. As a key member of the on-site team, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of the project, ensuring they are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret contractor Product Data Information (PDIs) and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Implement and monitor effective measures and controls to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Analyse and interpret technical drawings and identify potential clashes or discrepancies.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including console units (CRUs).
• Generate clear and concise reports detailing progress, performance metrics, and any identified issues.
• Liaise effectively with subcontractors, engineers, and the wider project team to ensure seamless communication and project delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working on a data centre construction project.
• Over 10 years of demonstrable experience in the mechanical engineering field.
• A strong trades background in a relevant mechanical discipline (e.g., plumbing, HVAC) or a relevant engineering degree.
• Proven ability to read, understand, and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong focus on safety and adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment.
