Role Overview: As a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of high-value mechanical packages on major projects in Denmark. Your responsibilities will include ensuring cost control, value engineering, and commercial management of all mechanical works while liaising with both clients and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, submit, and manage project cost estimates and budgets.
Manage the procurement process for mechanical services and materials.Assess and certify subcontractor valuations and payments.Conduct cost analysis and provide advice on value engineering opportunities.
Prepare accurate and detailed progress reports.
Liaise closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth project delivery.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial procedures.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Previous experience working as a Mechanical QS on large-scale construction projects, ideally within data centres or similar sectors.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, cost control, and contract management.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Willingness to relocate to Denmark for the duration of the project.
