Job Description:
· Assisting in the preparation of detailed tender documentation using AutoCAD and Microsoft office
· Be knowledgeable with specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details, liaising with design teams, coordinating subcontractor
· Liase with Clients, Designers & Architects via telephone/email to obtain design details, comments /approval of working drawings
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and servicing of mechanical systems in line with project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to ensure mechanical designs are integrated into the overall project efficiently.
- Perform on-site inspections and testing to ensure system performance and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Lead a team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with client specifications.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide innovative solutions to system challenges.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes relevant to mechanical services.
The successful candidate will ideally:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience required, preferably in the Building/Mechanical Services Industry
· Relevant qualification in Building/mechanical Services Engineering desirable
· Experience using and reading AutoCAD
· High level of computer literacy with good working knowledge of a variety of computer packages including Auto Cad, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Motivated individual with initiative and common sense who can work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines with a proven ability to prioritise
· A strong team player with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships internally and externally
· Hold a full, clean Irish driving licence
