Our client is a leading construction company specialising in healthcare projects. They are currently seeking a skilled M&E Coordinator to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:
As the M&E Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical systems within healthcare construction projects. You will coordinate and oversee all M&E activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and client requirements. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage M&E works across multiple healthcare construction projects.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of M&E services.
  • Review and interpret M&E designs, specifications, and drawings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and adherence to project plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
  • Manage the procurement of M&E materials and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an M&E Coordinator in the construction industry, preferably within healthcare projects.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems and installations.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
