Junior Mechanical Engineer

As a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you will work on a variety of exciting projects across healthcare, residential, and commercial sectors throughout Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in mechanical design while being mentored by experienced professionals in a collaborative environment, where you will see yourself working alongside a brilliant team of M&E Engineers of all levels, along with the company's impressive team of architect professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical building services solutions
• Work on HVAC, water, and ventilation systems for high-profile projects
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and clients to deliver innovative designs
• Conduct calculations, analysis, and technical reporting
• Participate in site visits and liaise with contractors to ensure project success

This role is a permanent position, so job security is guaranteed! You will be quickly intergrated into the team and will be able to get stuck into projects and design, and work on developing your skills.

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong grasp of mechanical design principles and building services
• Excellent communication skills – ability to work in a team and engage with stakeholders
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and progress within the industry.Knowledge of relevant design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is advantageous
• Strong English verbal and written skills
• up to 1 year of Irish consultancy experience is a huge bonus
