Coming in as a Junior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll collaborate with a team of experienced designers and engineers to conceptualize, develop, and refine industrial products and systems. From ideation to prototype testing, your input will directly impact the success of our clients’ designs. You will be working directly with Senior level engineers, which will be extremely benificial for learning new skills to progress your engineering career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of the senior mechanical engineer, design mechanical services packages in AutoCAD & Revit where applicable
- Participate in project site visits to survey, monitor, review and sign-off upon electrical installations when required
- Collaborate with senior engineers on project planning, problem-solving, and design optimization
- Participate in constructability and safety reviews
- Prepare technical documentation, including detailed reports and drawings.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 1+ years experience in the industrial design field
- Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Experience in project site visits to survey, monitor, review and sign-off upon electrical installations when required
- Knowledge and experience of applicable mechanical engineering codes and standards
