Our client, a leading design consultancy based in West Dublin, is renowned for delivering exceptional solutions across pharmaceutical, data center, and power projects. They’re looking for a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team and make a real impact on high-profile, cutting-edge projects.
As part of the engineering team, you’ll:
- MV & LV electrical design, including MCCs, distribution boards, cable systems, lighting & emergency lighting
- Under the direction of the principal electrical engineer, design electrical services packages in AutoCAD & Revit where applicable
- Design of Life Safety Systems including Fire Alarm and security
- Assist in electrical load calculations, equipment selection, and specification development.Work closely with senior engineers and project managers to meet client expectations
- Participate in site visits and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address challenges in real time
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
- A foundational understanding of electrical systems and industrial processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-player mindset
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- 1+ years of formal experience in industrial engineering design
