Role Overview:
We are seeking a Planning Manager to oversee project scheduling and ensure seamless communication between Spanish-speaking and English-speaking teams on large-scale data centre projects. The role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional planning, organizational, and bilingual communication skills to ensure project timelines are met effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Scheduling & Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for data centre projects in Spain and Germany using industry-standard tools (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project).Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines and deliverables.Coordinate planning efforts across all project stages, from pre-construction to project delivery.
Liaison Between Teams: Act as the bridge between Spanish and English-speaking managers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all teams.Translate project updates, technical discussions, and documentation between languages as required.
Coordination & Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors in both countries to ensure schedules align with project objectives.Provide support to resolve scheduling conflicts and resource allocation issues.Ensure project milestones are met and report progress to senior management.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and present regular schedule updates and performance reports to stakeholders in both Spain and Germany.Ensure all planning documentation complies with project and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in planning roles within the construction industry, preferably on data centre or similar large-scale projects.Proven track record of working across international projects and managing multicultural teams.
Skills: Proficient in project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Languages: Fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently between Spain and Germany.
