The company's next planned hire is to bring in an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile projects that shape Ireland’s built environment while advancing your career within a global consultancy.
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and manage mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and healthcare projects
- Conduct feasibility studies, perform load calculations, and develop detailed system specifications
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Lead technical aspects of projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance in technical problem-solving
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and address project requirements effectively
To be considered for this role, you should have:
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Proven experience in mechanical design for commercial, residential, or healthcare projects
- 3+ years' experience within a UK or Irish based Design Consultancy
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or other industry-standard tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering innovative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.Knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry standards is a plus
