Are you an ambitious Electrical Engineer with a passion for industrial projects? We are hiring for an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join a well-established design consultancy in Citywest, Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a major data centre project, recently secured by our client, and gain invaluable experience in a cutting-edge sector.
As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the implementation of electrical systems for industrial projects. Working primarily out of the Citywest office, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems for industrial projects, with a strong focus on data centres
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Prepare electrical designs, drawings, and technical specifications
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Assist in project coordination from initial concept to final completion
- Stay updated on advancements in electrical design and industry regulations
This role is a permanent position, so job security is guaranteed! You will be quickly intergrated with the rest of the Industrial Design team and will be able to get stuck into this exciting Mission Critical project!
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- 3+ years of consultancy experience in electrical building services
- Exposure to industrial projects (data centre experience is highly desirable).Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.Strong knowledge of Irish electrical regulations and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a wider team
