Intermediate Electrical Engineer

Access Talent Group are working with one of Irelands leading Engineering Design Consultancies, who are looking to bring in an Intermediate level Electrical Engineer to add to their team based out of their Dublin office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join up with a company that has over 60 years of experience in the market, that will be able to provide the right candidate with fantastic opportunities to grow into a senior level engineer, as you will be working closely alongside some of the key players on project design and delivery.

There is also a great scope of projects to get stuck into. Our client operates within the Commercial, Residential, Data Centre and Medical Device sectors, which provides a fantastic variety of projects to work on! The company believes strongly in keeping engineers engaged on projects, and they feel that giving the opportunity to work on multiple projects in different sectors provides fantastic results.

There is also scope to work on and be a key part of international based projects, which is something that not too many companies in the sector can boast about now. This provides the opportunity for some very exciting site visits, and a great chance to begin building your reputation in the international market.

Main responsibilities include working alongside and reporting to the companies very experienced senior level engineers, where you will be responsible for the completion of electrical design in line of needs of the current project. You will also be responsible for liaising and communicating with clients if any questions and queries arise and responding in a timely and professional manner.

The successful candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in an Electrical Engineering role within an Irish or UK based consultancy and have a strong knowledge and awareness of Irish Engineering standards. The right person for this role will have had previous exposure to Commercial, Residential, Medical Device or Data Centre projects.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Relevant Electrical Engineering degree
• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Previous relevant project experience
• Sound knowledge of Irish engineering standards
• Previous experience in Client Relations
• Experience in the full cycle of design
