You'll work on high-value Data Centre projects in Frankfurt, with the opportunity to travel accross mainland Europe, and progress to senior positions!
The succesful canidate will oversee mutple Data Centre sites, if you are looking to break into the Data Centre market, this is the role for you! Role Overview:
As a Health & Safety Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our construction site operates in line with UK safety regulations and best practices. You will work closely with site teams, contractors, and project managers to promote a culture of safety and minimise risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS).
- Monitor contractor compliance with site safety procedures and regulations.
- Support the investigation of incidents, near misses, and safety concerns, ensuring proper reporting and follow-up actions.
- Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to new workers and subcontractors.
- Ensure that all PPE requirements are met and that workers adhere to site safety protocols.
- Assist the Health & Safety Manager in implementing safety policies and best practices.
- Keep accurate records of safety audits, incidents, and training sessions.
- Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage hazard reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working on construction sites in a health & safety role.
- A NEBOSH General Certificate, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong knowledge of UK health & safety regulations and construction site procedures.
- Experience with RAMS, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
- Good communication and leadership skills to engage with site teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to safety challenges effectively.
- Desirable: CSCS card, First Aid certification, Fire Marshal Training, or other relevant safety qualifications.
