Access have joined forces with a geo-environmental consultancy offering a comprehensive range of geo-environmental services to support the acquisition and development of land for projects in the UK. Our client works on projects with some of the country’s largest contractors and land developers, right through to local house builders and SME’s on more intimate projects. Their client list ranges from architects and land agents to structural and civil engineering firms and sports associations. Although our clients GI and SI teams are what the company is known for, they are expanding their horizons by developing their Geotechnical Engineering team, and are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer or Geo-environmental with design experience to join their team so they can continue to grow their service offering.

The ideal candidate will join our client and contribute heavily to the development of new sector and service offerings. You will be expected to work directly with clients, governing bodies, and consultancies to ensure that our clients GI and SI team dovetail with their new Geotechnical team and provide a high-level and bespoke service. Your daily tasks will include design appraisal, feasibility studies, design checks and alterations and over a period of time, business development. You will be the right hand man or woman for the management team, gluing the new with the established in the business.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • The right to live and work in the UK

  • A Geotechnical, Geology or similar degree level qualification – preferably chartered
