Are you an experienced Estimator with a strong background in civil engineering, groundworks, and earthworks? Do you want to be part of a leading Civil Engineering contractor experiencing significant growth year on year?
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator to join our team based in Birmingham. Specialising in civil engineering projects across healthcare, mixed-use developments, residential, and commercial sectors, we pride ourselves on delivering excellence and innovation in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of civil engineering and groundwork projects.
- Assess project plans, specifications, and documents to ensure accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop competitive bids and proposals.
- Maintain and improve cost databases and estimation tools.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information for accurate costings.
- Provide technical advice and recommendations to support decision-making during the tendering process.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an Estimator within the Civil Engineering sector.In-depth knowledge of civil engineering, groundworks, and earthworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Project.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
