ATG are seeking a dedicated and innovative Environmental Process Engineer to design, develop, and optimize environmentally sustainable processes and systems.

The ideal candidate will integrate engineering principles with environmental best practices to minimize the environmental impact of industrial operations while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve processes to reduce waste, emissions, and energy consumption.
  • Design systems for water treatment, air quality control, waste management, and pollution mitigation.
  • Conduct process simulations and modeling to predict system performance and environmental impact.
  • Ensure processes comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, ISO 14001).
  • Prepare documentation for environmental audits and permits.
  • Lead and manage environmental projects, from initial design to implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and safety, to meet sustainability goals.
  • Analyze environmental data (e.g., emissions levels, water usage) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in process engineering or environmental compliance roles.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in process design tools and environmental modeling software (e.g., Aspen Plus, MATLAB).
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (e.g., Clean Air Act, RCRA).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
