We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team at a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor. This role will focus on managing electrical aspects of data centre projects, ensuring efficient and timely completion while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, project management, and experience working on large-scale data centre projects. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of cutting-edge projects in the rapidly growing data centre industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Head up the fitout of data halls within data centre projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and timelines.
- Manage subcontractors involved in electrical installations, including containment, mains, and cabling.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all electrical work, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports and updates to project stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Proactively identify and address project issues, risks, and challenges to minimize disruptions and delays.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in data centre construction, with a strong background in electrical fitouts.
- Proven track record of managing subcontractors and coordinating complex construction projects.
- Expertise in electrical containment, mains installation, and cabling within data centre environments.
- Strong team-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Autonomous and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions confidently.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Fluency in German and English languages is preferred.
