Access are wokrking with a forward thinking electrical contractor gorwing rapidly accross the Data Centre Market. Our client are an Irish contractor with a wide reach accross the Data Centre market. With projects in locations such as Milan, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Helsinki, they have an extremely strong pipeline of mission critical projects over the next 5 years.
As Package Manager you'll take projects from start to finish, liasing directly with the Project Manager to deliver high-value Data Centre's! You will have the opportunity to travel accross different European projects earning a comeptitive salary and opportunities for progression! This position is available for a rotational package, working on a 3/1 rotaiton our client will cover all travel/ accomodation with a week off a month! For the susccesfull candidate, you have a strong opportunity for progression into Project Management positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the electrical package from design through to commissioning and handover.
- Oversee contractors, suppliers, and on-site teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports.
- Coordinate with MEP, civil, and structural teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review and approve technical submissions, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover of electrical systems.
Key Requirements:
- Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical project/package management, ideally within data centres, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of HV & LV power distribution, generators, UPS, and switchgear.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, procurement, and project budgets.Familiarity with BS7671, IEC standards, and health & safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.IOSH/NEBOSH certification is desirable but not essential.
