Electrical Engineer

Our client, a leading organisation in the construction and design sector, is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Data Centre projects. The role will involve working on cutting-edge projects in Oslo or Porto, where you will play a crucial role in the electrical engineering aspects of large-scale data centre developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Integration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical designs into the overall project framework, ensuring seamless integration with other engineering disciplines.
• Technical Consulting: Provide expert technical advice on electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Cabling: Design and oversee the installation of power and data cabling infrastructure, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability in alignment with project specifications.
• Health and Safety Maintenance: Implement and maintain rigorous health and safety standards across all phases of the project, ensuring a safe working environment and compliance with local regulations.
• Project Coordination: Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering, with a strong emphasis on data centres or similar large-scale projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of engineering software for modelling and design, with at least a strong understanding of industry-standard tools and technologies.
• Data Centre Expertise: Demonstrated experience working on data centre projects or within a similar field, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of these environments.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
