We are currently seeking a highly skilled Electrical Commissioning Lead to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage the electrical commissioning activities for our prestigious data centre projects. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of electrical systems, thereby upholding the reliability and efficiency of our state-of-the-art facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the electrical commissioning process for data center projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
- Develop and execute commissioning plans, procedures, and protocols in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems and equipment to verify functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to resolve any electrical issues or discrepancies identified during the commissioning phase.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing electrical performance.
- Document commissioning activities, results, and findings in accordance with project documentation and compliance standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and environmental sustainability throughout the commissioning process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in electrical commissioning leadership roles within the data center or critical facilities industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and components, with expertise in medium and low voltage power distribution.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes, including NEC, NFPA, IEEE, and ANSI.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality, safety, and compliance.
- Must hold an EU passport.
Work Schedule:
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Rotations: 10 days on, 4 days off
