Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team working on a cutting-edge data centre project. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of electrical and instrumentation systems, contributing to the overall success of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and instrumentation systems for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate E&I systems seamlessly into project designs and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to assess the feasibility and efficiency of proposed E&I solutions.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of E&I systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and stakeholders on E&I-related matters.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any E&I issues or discrepancies that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of E&I activities, including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant trades background.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering or instrumentation roles, preferably within the construction or data centre industry.
- Strong electrical background with expertise in designing and implementing electrical systems.
- Proficiency in Spanish language is required to effectively communicate with local stakeholders and contractors.
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
