A Director of Ecology is required to join a national environmental consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity to build, develop and grow an Ecology team with excellent support from the business.

 

You will grow and support the Ecology team whilst delivering projects for the public and private sectors across the UK, working on a range of exciting projects. An experienced a passionate ecologist with strong business development and client liaison skills to win new work and build and develop existing relationships. You’ll also have strong technical ability and able to lead and mentor on projects including ecological appraisals, protected species surveys including ornithology, mitigation design and construction and post-construction supervision and monitoring.

 

You will have:

  • Full membership of CIEEM ( or working towards)
     
  • Previous experience leading and growing a team
     
  • Strong business development and client liaison skills
     
  • UK driver License
