Join a dynamic and rapidly growing Irish firm that is currently experiencing unprecedented expansion. In the event of success, you'll assume the role of Construction Manager, stationed in one of the client's undisclosed locations, which may include Denmark, Holland (Groningen), and various Northern Nordic regions like Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Your responsibilities will revolve around managing diverse Substation and Telecommunication projects.

 

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the end-to-end construction process for substations and telecommunication projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and timeline standards.

- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, architects, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.

- Manage on-site activities, providing leadership and guidance to construction teams.

- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations.

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

- Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment required for construction activities.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project milestones, challenges, and resolutions.

- Address client concerns promptly and maintain a positive client relationship throughout the project lifecycle.

- Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards.

- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with project specifications.

- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard project success.

- Proactively address challenges and adapt to unforeseen circumstances to keep projects on track.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

- Provide mentorship and support to construction teams, fostering professional development and ensuring a strong team dynamic.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Construction Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering substations and telecommunication projects.

- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within specified timelines.

- Flexibility to travel to various project locations as required.
