Communication Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Communication Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia within the Oil and Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining communication systems and networks to ensure seamless and reliable operations in the oil and gas facilities.

Responsibilities:

- Designing, implementing, and maintaining communication systems and networks in oil and gas facilities.

- Ensuring the reliability and security of communication systems, including voice, data, and video networks.

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate communication systems with other operational technologies.

- Conducting regular maintenance and troubleshooting of communication systems to minimize downtime and disruptions.

- Evaluating and recommending new technologies and solutions to improve communication infrastructure and efficiency.

- Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presenting findings to stakeholders and management.

- Complying with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to communication and networking in the oil and gas sector.

Key requirements

- At least a 4 year degree in an engineering discipline

- Proven experience in project management within the Oil and Gas industry, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices

- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly preferred

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders

- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure

- Familiarity with project management tools and software, as well as relevant industry standards and regulations

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong commitment to quality and safety
