With an impressive roster of dominant clients, it is anticipated that this contractor will achieve substantial turnover this year, driven by their expanded presence across Central Europe.
We are actively seeking a dynamic and skilled Commissioning Engineer to join the Paris team. This role is well-suited for an individual with a determined and technical mindset. Primary Responsibilities:
Engineering and Technical Support:
Provide comprehensive engineering and technical support throughout the entire life cycle commissioning of critical facilities.
Collaborate with project teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate commissioning activities, ensuring seamless execution.
MEP Design Process:
Actively participate in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) design process to integrate commissioning considerations from the early stages of project development.
Contribute insights and expertise to optimize MEP systems for efficiency and reliability.
System Testing Oversight:
Witness both static and dynamic testing phases of complex mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and performance expectations.
Verify the functionality and interoperability of critical facility systems during testing phases.
Test Procedure Execution:
Perform and execute detailed Test Procedures to validate the operational performance of various components within critical facilities.
Systematically assess and document results to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Identify and troubleshoot any discrepancies or issues encountered during commissioning activities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective solutions and ensure the optimal functioning of systems.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain meticulous documentation of commissioning activities, test results, and any modifications made during the process.
Generate comprehensive reports summarizing commissioning outcomes, providing valuable insights for ongoing and future projects.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by sharing lessons learned and best practices from commissioning experiences.
Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies to enhance commissioning processes and methodologies.
Required Experience:
- +3 years experience in commissioning (not necessarily on Data Centres)
- Technical bias in either Mechanical or Electrical packages
- French speaking
- English speaking
