We are seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a well rounded and dynamic in the Midlands, United Kingdom. As a key member of the Civil Engineering Design firm, you will be responsible for taking lead on smaller schemes and working with Senior on larger more complex schemes. You will have a technical mind for design within he Roads and Drainage sector and if you have some Flood risk assessment experience it is always advantageous. You will work on a variety of schemes within the residential, commercial, listed Buildings, Highrise building associate infrastructure to name a few
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 4 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on infrastructure design and project management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects within budget and timeline
- Software experience – AutoCAD, Civil 3D not essential, Causeway Flow / Microdrainage
- Drawing of SuDS, surface, and foul water drainage designs
- Working on and completing S184, S278 & S38 Highway agreements Councils.
- S104 / S185 / 106 agreements
- Design of external levels and drainage
- Hardstand design and detailing
- Surface water hydraulic modelling
- Flood Risk Assessments for planning
- Drainage strategies for planning
- 2D highway design to Local Authority Guidelines
- 3D earthworks modelling (training given)
- 3D highway design using Civils 3D (training given)
- 3D drainage design using Civils 3D (training given)
- Working with younger staff members to expand build knowledge
- Managing smaller schemes and Technicians
- Working with Senior engineers on bigger projects
- Liaison with external bodies water authorities, EA, LLFA, Highways, Planning

- Bonus – Bonus is 5% of salary and is paid twice yearly. Normally around March and September time. This split, 50% personal performance and 50% company performance. So the candidate has the opportunity to get 2.5% every six months (1.25% on company performance and 1.25% on personal performance)
