Civil Design Engineer

Access Talent Group is working with a growing consultancy in Dublin that is seeking a Design Engineer to join their expanding Transportation and Traffic team. The successful candidate will contribute to several active travel projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of traffic and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to create sustainable, efficient solutions.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure that projects comply with relevant regulations and local authority requirements.
• Conduct technical evaluations, analyse traffic flow, and carry out road safety audits.
• Support project management teams to deliver projects within budget and on schedule.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Some experience in civil design, particularly in traffic and transportation project.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MX Roads.
• Familiarity with traffic analysis tools like ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG is beneficial.
• Experience in active travel projects (e.g., cycling infrastructure, pedestrian pathways) is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
