Assistant Resident Engineer

Access Talent Group is partnering with a globally acclaimed consultancy to find a Resident Engineer for a major road/cycling/active travel project in County Meath due to start in late Summer 2024.

In this role, you will oversee on-site supervision, administration, monitoring, and inspection of construction activities. You will work closely with a full-time Senior Resident Engineer and a Clerk of Works/Inspector.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field
• Experience in supervising and inspecting roadworks construction, including pavement, drainage, ducting, signage, lighting, etc.
• Aspiration to achieve Chartered Engineer status
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet project goals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
