Our client is a leading company within the geotechnical and geoenvironmental ground investigation sector, with a strong presence across the UK. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions, they are now seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations in the North West and West Midlands. Role Overview
As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all geotechnical and geoenvironmental ground investigation projects within your region, ensuring their successful completion from planning through to execution. You’ll manage multiple teams, working closely with project managers and field staff to ensure projects meet technical, budgetary, and time constraints. Your role will also involve building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and reporting on project progress to senior management. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise in geotechnics and project management to a leadership role, driving both the operational and strategic direction of the region.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven experience in geotechnical and geoenvironmental ground investigation
     
  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
     
  • Experience managing multiple teams and projects concurrently
     
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
     
  • Strong understanding of health and safety standards within the industry
     
  • Ability to manage operations across a broad geographic area (North West and West Midlands)
     
  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline is preferred
