(Senior or Intermediate) MEP Project Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Specification Development: Lead the development of detailed MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) specifications for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Basis of Design (BOD) Documentation: Prepare comprehensive Basis of Design documents outlining the technical requirements and design parameters for MEP systems in data centres.
• Technical Documentation: Generate detailed technical documentation including drawings, calculations, and reports to support the design process and communicate project requirements effectively.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough technical analysis of MEP systems, utilizing advanced engineering principles and simulation tools to optimize performance, efficiency, and reliability.
• Site-Based Support: Provide on-site support during various phases of the project, including construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting, to ensure successful implementation of the design and compliance with specifications.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years Data Centre Experience: Demonstrated experience working on data centre projects, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of this specialized environment.
• Full MEP Experience: Proficiency in all aspects of MEP design, including HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), plumbing, airflow management, and chiller systems, with a focus on delivering robust and resilient solutions.
• QAQC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control): Strong commitment to quality assurance and quality control processes, with the ability to ensure that designs meet industry standards, codes, and client expectations.
